Birds in nature

Swans are precocial birds. I checked the nest with 8 eggs and the breeding swan almost every day. I was lucky and could take fotos of five baby swans the first and the second day after they hatched. This picture is taken the second day, when the swans alreday had left the nest. I had to search several miles along the waterside of the lake of constance and again was lucky to detect the group with their parent swans some 500 meters away in the reed, where they had a rest.
