I attempted to duplicate Van Gogh's famous painting using a composite of real images. The cypres trees were shaped using the warp tool; the sky was actually river wate,r shaded and warped. The stars are a real starscape. The swirling stars are four starscapes merged, compressed vertically, and warped and given an inner and outer glow. The window lights are painted in yellow with an outer glow. The church is the chapel in the Yosemite valley!
