Challenge has finished
Enter the photo you COULD have entered in a challenge that was full when you tried to enter. Or maybe you forgot and WOULD have entered it before the challenge was over. You SHOULD have entered it, because it was a good shot. You were too slow before, don't make that mistake again. This is going to be a mix of entries, so vote with your heart, viewers!

Not till the fire is dying in the grate Look we for any kinship with the stars . . . George Meredith I wanted to enter this in 'Starry, starry night' back in September 09 - but I was new to DPR then, and the Greenwich mean time fooled me, and I missed the deadline by several hours.

|Notes:||Exposure data not recorded - probably an hour at f 5.6 with 100 ISO for the star trails, and just a few seconds for the fire. The 'extra' stars were added in the darkroom, and are actually reflections of the sun on a rippled pond.|
