Remember polishing that chrome bumper that seemed to go on for ever? Driving at night and seeing the colors twist and dance across it? Little by little chrome is slipping into history... bumpers, fins, hood ornaments, motorcycles, accents....even blenders and malt mixers!...what is left is getting harder to find. Be how reflections in the chrome can change perspectives and bend reflections

This certainly won't compete with all the fine images of classic chrome in this challenge, but it's fun anyway! I set up this shot as my sister and I drove through South Dakota on our way to Minneapolis. We were on Interstate-90 and playing tag with an 18-wheel truck in the rolling hill country. I kept noticing our reflection in the spotless hubcap on the trailer axle inside the chromed wheel of the rear tires, and had my sister take the shot as we passed again.
