In September 2008 I flew to Galveston, Texas in order to intercept Hurricane IKE. I chose wisely and the eye came right over. Winds like I have never witnessed. 12 hours before the hurricane arrived surf was crashing against the sea defence wall making for some exceptional action shots. As I was shooting, this character appeared and starting doing some crazy stuff right on the edge. He must have been crazy as the waves nearly swept him away on more than one occasion. Totally unexpected shot.
