North Pine dam spillway on 22 May 2009 at 07:50, Brisbane (Australia). The concrete gravity dam (580 m long, 40 m high) is located on the North Pine River. It is the primary water reservoir for norther Brisbane. In May 2009, the South-East Queensland received torrential rainfall tha tled to fashflooding and the dam spillway gates had to be opened.
