Multiple exposure images can give a sense of motion even if the subject is totally immobile. Any combination of camera movements (e.g. rotation) can create a feeling of motion when shot as a multiple exposure image.

Notes: Three images photographed of the same potted geranium from a tripod. The movement of the camera consisted of changing the focal length to zoom out from the flower using soft room lighting at night. Used photoshopping to layer images on top of each other.
