Let's show our best portraits. Any kind are welcome, but only people, no animals please (unless they're with people). Colors, B&W, long or shallow DOF, whatever. We want to know something about the picture (background story, etc.) and possibly about the subjects in the pictures. Good challenge!

This old boy was sat on a bench in the High Street of Lincoln City, UK. I caught his eye with the camera and a broad if not 'merry' grin krept upon his face! He wasn't a down and out, but he was a little astray in life....He had lost his wife some time ago, was no longer in touch with his children and living in a flat with help from organisations that help 'look after' the elderly or vulnerable...
