Challenge has finished
Did you start on film? Do you still have a great film library that you are trying to move to digital media? Show us the oldest shot you can find that you are still proud of and did a nice recovery of with a film or print scan or even copied a print with your digital camera and good software. Tell us about the shot and what it means to you. Tell us what you did to scan and fix it up. Original shot has to pre-date modern digital photography equipment, but can benefit from modern digital processing - you're on your honor, here. Previous DP Review challenge entries NOT ALLOWED.

Shot this on my second trip to Norway in 2001, and still love it. I have the same photo both on negative and slide, as I used to carry two bodies, one for each kind of film. This is (poorly) scanned from the slide with a cheapo scanner, and seen large it looses on detail, but colors are Ok so it works on small sizes. I did almost nothing to the scanned file, maybe just a bit of levels.
