Challenge has finished
Did you start on film? Do you still have a great film library that you are trying to move to digital media? Show us the oldest shot you can find that you are still proud of and did a nice recovery of with a film or print scan or even copied a print with your digital camera and good software. Tell us about the shot and what it means to you. Tell us what you did to scan and fix it up. Original shot has to pre-date modern digital photography equipment, but can benefit from modern digital processing - you're on your honor, here. Previous DP Review challenge entries NOT ALLOWED.

Taken in June 1996 with a Canon Rebel film camera (don't even remember the lens on it), I just loved the way this composition worked, with a glacier lake in the foreground and the tiny silhouettes on the hill. It was an overcast day and the colors are pretty accurate.
