Challenge has finished
Did you start on film? Do you still have a great film library that you are trying to move to digital media? Show us the oldest shot you can find that you are still proud of and did a nice recovery of with a film or print scan or even copied a print with your digital camera and good software. Tell us about the shot and what it means to you. Tell us what you did to scan and fix it up. Original shot has to pre-date modern digital photography equipment, but can benefit from modern digital processing - you're on your honor, here. Previous DP Review challenge entries NOT ALLOWED.

This was taken in 1953 when I was 14 years old. It was my first photo 'safari' in New York with my photography mentor who, at the age of 84, still tells me when I have it right and when I don't.
