In March 2007 I made Tongariro Crossing, the most popular one day hike in New Zealand. The freezing rain, wind and fog made this hike into a small adventure. Everything was soaking wet after the first hour no matter how it was packed. This view in the Central Crater was one of clearest moments during the hike, on the mountains it was impossible to see anything of the magnificent scenery. So I must go back there some day...
