I want to go back there!!
Challenge has finished
This is for people who travel and leave a piece of themselves everywhere they go. Let's post photos of places we've been to and that we miss so much. Places where we want to go back. It would be great if we could post photos linked to particular emotional feelings that help us to understand why that place is so attractive to you. Photos are stories, so tell us something about the place and about your experience there. Let us empathize with you, give us a little bit of your feelings. I wish everyone to go back to the place you are longing for. -paradiso

Bagan in central Myanmar (Burma) is one of the most astonishingly beautiful and different sites in SE Asia, and maybe in the whole world. Bagan plane is only a few square miles and it houses thousands of temples built in 12-14th century. The whole place feels frozen in time, beautiful, and inviting and foreign at the same time. At sunrise, when the fog just lifts off the plane it is breathtaking.

|Notes:||Bogen min-tripod and a considerable amount of body contortions required to crouch down on a very narrow temple terrace.|
