This is a partial silhouette of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany. It's such an iconic structure that has silently watched over the darkest parts of modern history. I wanted to concentrate solely on the statue of Victoria on the Chariot as it seems to be lost amongst the grandeur of the Grecian arches. It's also the angle most tourists will get to see it from.
I chose to put it in silhouette because I also thought that it'd be funny to take a picture of a monument where you couldn't
