Sigma-Foveon Panoramas!
Challenge has finished
Show us your very best Panorama taken with a Sigma-Foveon camera. The challenge is to depict your mastery of the art of the photo-panorama. The 'Insight' aspect of the challenge is to demonstrate your understanding and mastery of this sometimes demanding technology. For those who aren’t technically minded about these matters: Most digital cameras use a Bayer sensor, which captures red, green and blue light (RGB) using a Colour Filter Array -- one colour at each photosite. Sigma uses the Foveon sensor, which captures RGB at each and every photosite. This is a very different way of capturing an image that produces pictures with great colour depth and sharpness.
