Challenge has finished
Let's see your best shot of a star trail. The longer the trail the better. Also you MUST have some earthly point of interest in the photo (eg a tree, building or some landscape) to increase the impact- submissions without an earthly point of interest will be DQ'd. Very short trails will be DQ'd - the stars must have sufficiently long trails (see the sample images- the trails should be atleast as long as the ones in the tree image). Please do not include any people or animals in the image. Note: Any complaints about the entries, must be submitted ONLY during the submission phase. Once the submission phase ends and voting starts, complaints will not be entertained.

Lundy Canyon is between the Sierra crest (California, USA) and Mono Lake - it's a favorite for fall photography (aspen). We had a full moon that night, and it was near freezing during our outing.
