The image seen here is the Viet Nam war in 1969. It is in the Americal Division at Chu Lai. This area was called the 'Rocket Pocket.' In this scene, the extraction helicopter has landed in the afternoon to pick up soldiers going in to base camp, mail going in, and empty water cans and hot chow mermite containers.
