Dramatic Light: Back Lighting, Rim Lighting
Challenge has finished
Amateur film used to come with tips - including how to light your subject by putting the light source behind you (shoot with the sun at your back). By now you've probably recognized that shooting into the light can create a dramatically different look ... if you get the exposure correct. For the best effect, make sure your subject is against a dark background. Show us your best example of a well exposed rim lit or back lit subject. (This challenge requires effort. Please note Additional rules and examine the sample images.)
