Processing rules:

Minimal processing. Replacement of any original scene element or addition of non-original elements by any method or technique is not permitted.
Full EXIF data must be present
No borders, signatures, or watermarks
No frame stacking or stitching

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

The shot must be from 2022; please disregard the automatically generated "no restrictions" rule above
The bird must have been alive, wild, and unrestrained. Your entry will be disqualified if it's discovered that you've used unethical practices, including but not limited to luring the birds with bait, photographing nests with a wide angle/macro lens, or flash photography of nocturnal birds
No photograph should be entered into this challenge series more than once. This includes minor image variations, such as photos of the same bird species taken in the same setting.
The photo must be your own work
Nothing in the entry should identify you as the participant
If you vote in the challenge you've entered, please vote fairly and don't sandbag other entries
If an unusual voting pattern is discovered, the offending entry will be disqualified

Wasn't intended to be anything amazing. Just testing new gear in the backyard... But Wow ! Needless to say, I was very pleased with what I found :)

Well, I always use DXO Pure RAW as a first step, and that typically removes 95-100% of any noise in the original cRAW file. But sometimes, In tougher conditions / higher ISO’s I will run it through Topaz for some very light touch ups. I think I did some very light Topaz on this one.
