Processing rules:

RAW /OOC JPEG info: You must state in the notes/technical description area whether the image was originally RAW or Out Of Camera Jpeg
No composite images. (i.e. no sky replacement etc.)
SIZE: Image size should be between 1080p and 2160p on the SHORT side of the image.
TITLE: Give the image a title, the location is useful if pertinent.
No personal watermarks, forms of identification, or personal website reference.

Capture date rules:

Images must be shot after the announcement date of the challenge.

If you have any queries please contact me by PM where we can amicably discuss them. Do not post in the comment section below the challenge as we get no notification of them.
As this is a date challenge and to minimise subterfuge also have ready on request an uploaded photo or link to one of the back of your camera with your entered image showing date details etc. See example given below in sample images. You can also send a link of the original, straight out of camera file, be it RAW or Jpeg.
If the proof of date image/link requested above can not be sent to the host within 48 hours then unfortunately the image will be removed.
Pictures must contain full EXIF data
Pictures should be rated as suitable for child/family viewing so no nudity, depictions of cruelty etc.
Submission must be your work. Also allowed is from your direct family i.e. partner, child etc. though only 1 submission is allowed per family unit.
No added borders.

Very impressive, but may be lost on this audience. Is the 'Thomas the Tank Engine' kids' series shown anywhere other than the UK?

Very popular in the USA. There's a full sized replica Thomas that makes the rounds that I've seen in Pennsylvania and he makes appearances in the form of Halloween costumes. We went a bit overboard on the toys, LOL. We've had hours of fun laying out the tracks; good times!

Well we used to export real trains around the world and all we can manage now is toys made in the Far East! Oh well at least we export a little joy to kids.

Glad you like it. If you’ve never been to the Isle of Man it’s worth a short break especially if you like steam and old electric railways. You can fly in and use the good public transport to get around or you can take a car on the ferry.
Best visited for railways early in the year before the line side vegetation grows too tall.

Thanks. It’s the 4 o’clock train out of Douglas which was the last of the day. Another hour later would have got the side of the train better lit. There’s only a handful of days a year they run that service. Maybe another year but getting the west again might take a bit of luck.
