Taken at La Quinta Tennis Tournament Court #1. What a stretch to get to the ball with a wicked crosscourt backhand winning the point...Sorry to hear he was deported from Australia because he was unvaccinated.

Great image. I too was disappointed he was deported and not allowed to compete. He was definitely the strong favorite which would have given him the lead over Fed and Nadal in most Grand Slam titles ever.

Congrats on winning this challenge! Excellent framing and you caught him in a classic Djokovic shot and pose.

Could I possibly recommend you try Topaz AI Noise reduction (if you don't already have it) and run this image through it as it really cleans up the noise quite well. Again, a very nice capture!

Thanks, I have always thought that shot had great possibilities even though I took it in 2012! I took that with my K5 with a 50-500mm Sigma lens from the top of the stadium. I must have been 250 feet away from the court floor, consequently I had to crop quite a bit resulting in more noise than I would have liked. I think I have Topaz Denoise somewhere, but I have not used it for a long while.
BTW this shot was published in the quarterly Tamron Magazine in their Sports edition, one of 3 pictures I contributed to that issue.
