Lets see images of wild animals in "combat". This MUST be members of the same species in combat; typically as a contest of dominance, for breeding rights or to take over a territory, it can include females fighting off male aggression to protect young. This challenge however, is NOT about one species preying on another, or killing the young of another competing predator species. Please include the general location in which the photograph was taken in the subject or notes section.

Processing rules:

Minimal processing.
Replacement of any original scene element or addition of non-original elements by any method or technique is not permitted.
Full EXIF data must be present, please include full camera and lens data.
No borders, signatures, or watermarks or text of any sort.
No frame stacking or stitching.
No composite images.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

The photo must:
- show the animals alive, wild, and unrestrained (this does not include domestic or farm animals);
- show the animals in the animals' natural/native environment;
- not show any humans, or man made objects/structures (but roads may be accepted as long as they are an unavoidable minor background feature of the image and do not dominate it).
Your entry will be disqualified if it's apparent that unethical practices were used such as; to lure the animals, or for the use of flash photography on nocturnal animals, or to expose young who would normally be protected in a nest or den.
The photo must be your own original work.
Nothing in the entry should identify you as the participant.
Do not vote in the challenge if you have entered a submission.
