After thousands of dollars and hours spent, that little millisecond with the owls make it all worthwhile! Congrats on the superb composition!

I agree nice photograph of the family but one question. Is there a reason why all three were not in sharp focus? Such as wanting to only put emphasis on the front one?

Sorry for breaking in: to get them all in focus, a smaller aperture (bigger F) should have been used, thus for the same light amount a slower SS (image degraded by target movement) and/or a bigger ISO (more noise). Another solution would have been to focus to the bird in the middle.
But frankly, I like the image as it is: congratulations to the photographer!
