Big Year shall start at 12:00 AM on 1 January of that year and end at 11:59 PM, 31 December of that year, based on the local time of the location of the birder at each time threshold.

A very nicely composed image. We have a species of Zosterops in New Zealand that has a deeper greenish back. We call it the Silvereye.
I can't comment on the colour I see in this Asian species here, but it is a very pleasant rendition.
Good to see the photographer out with a decent focal length of lens as this bird is very small - the New Zealand species is just 12cm from tip of bill to tip of tail, body wt is just 13g. Those who have photographed a small quick moving species will appreciate the photographers skill in lining up both birds in such a compelling image that has a crispness of focus.

Thanks for kind review & comments. These birds are very small sized bird max 11 centimetres. They are monomorphic (both sexes look alike), highly energetic and very fast moving from one point to other.
