The Mamiya C330 is a classic medium-format twin-lens reflex camera with interchangeable lenses, introduced in 1969. It took 120 film and produced 6x6 (2 1/4" square) images. It's one of the first medium-format film cameras I ever used. Your challenge is to produce a photo that could have been taken on a C330. Processing rules:

Photos must be cropped square.
Post-processing is to be limited to what could be done with a single negative in the darkroom: Cropping, adjusting lightness/brightness, contrast, and color balance, recovering shadows/highlights (dodging/burning).
No composites.
No software-generated skies.
No film-grain overlays.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

Photos must be taken within the parameters of the C330:
Shutter speed between 1 second and 1/500 (or Bulb)
The C330 took lenses with focal lengths between 55 and 250 mm (FF equiv: 30mm to 138mm). FLs may be longer (as if images were cropped) but no wider, and no super-zooms, please.
Aperture limits: f/2.8 to f/32 (same as the C330's 80mm lens).
ISO below 12,500, which is about as much as you could push Ilford Delta.
All entries must be the entrant's own original work -- that means you took it and you edited it.
For digital photographs, please supply EXIF data.
For film photographs, please indicate us camera and film type and exposure info if you have it.
Disqualifications may or may not be final. If you think you were DQ'd unfairly, please PM me and tell me why.
** BONUS: If you can prove the photo was taken on an ACTUAL Mamiya C330, you'll get an automatic 5-star vote from me!

I had a C330 in college and loved it. Graduated to an original RB67 (long before the Pro S) for most work and a Mamiya Universal for weddings. Those were the days.

Thanks for you sympathy! I often attract 2 half star votes. I wonder if it’s the same two people that I’ve upset in some way. Luckily in this case a different view was more common.
