Since 1927 every state in the USA has his own bird as a symbol.
If you have a picture of such a bird (can be taken worldwide !) which is the state bird of any state in the USA than you can show it here.

The pheasant is native to Asia and parts of Europe like the northern foothills of the Caucasus and the Balkans. It has been widely introduced elsewhere as a game bird, this one was shot (sic!) on a small island in the northern sea, wangerooge. It is the state-bird of South Dakota.
