-Great Men on Horseback- (Historic Statues in Full Colours)

Challenge has finished
From Wikipedia : "An equestrian statue is a statue of a rider mounted on a horse. A full-sized equestrian statue is a difficult and expensive object for any culture to produce, and figures have typically been portraits of rulers or, in the Renaissance and more recently, military commanders". In this challenge, photograph a well lit/well composed equestrian statue which appeared to be made way back in the 20th century or older. Don't be lame - there should be no live human in the frame, and it should not be a snapshot taken from a far distance or from an unflattering angle. Open to DPR members registered more than 3 years, and won at least 3 times.
