We're looking for photography where the photographer is merely an unnoticed observer taking photographs of people in places and/or situations showing the human condition, without the subjects posing or being aware they are being photographed. Among my favorites photographers known for this genre are Willy Ronis and Henri Cartier-Bresson.

Homeless Feet

11th place
These were the feet of a young, homeless guy who was sat on the steps near Borough Market in London. Unaware of the busy people who pushed around him he sat seemingly in his own space. His position and a bit of length on my lens meant that I could capture some of his story without imposing. It invoked thoughts that will always stay with me.
