Failures of Design
Challenge has finished
Sometimes, despite the best of intentions, man-made creations either don't do what they're supposed to or conflict with other objects and/or their environments in such ways that we can't help but shake our heads. I'm specifically looking for examples of counter-productive human creations here, no poking fun at the natural world itself. Bear in mind that some designs are elegant yet unintuitive, so be careful when pointing the finger.
