This is the Modern World

Challenge #4 in the Richard's Series series. Hosted by Richard Butler.
Challenge has finished
Modernist architecture isn't always a popular style, so here's a challenge to show the style at its best. If you're in London you can look for inspiration at the Le Courbusier exhibition - if you're anywhere else, you might be able to find examples of his work, or perhaps a Mies van der Rohe to get you going. Nothing too abstract though - once you can no longer tell it's a building, it's no longer eligible.

192nd place (joint)
The "Capstone Cathedral" in Phoneix, AZ, the million-dollar brainchild of the Rev. Neal Vincent Frisby (1933-2005 ). The seven-sided cast concrete structure is topped by a green and red glass pyramid “capstone” 31 feet tall, 40 feet on each side. Rev.Frisby told local architect Ray Parrish this design and location (adjacent to the town of Paradise Valley) was divinely inspired.
