Big Year shall start at 12:00 AM on 1 January of that year and end at 11:59 PM, 31 December of that year, based on the local time of the location of the birder at each time threshold.
if entering 2 shots they should be different species
no photograph should be entered into this challenge series more than once
The bird must have been alive, wild, and unrestrained

In spring these Finches are fighting all day long in my garden. I have 40 cm of space where there are no bushes in the background. That is is where you see the water in the background like in this picture.
