My 'local park' is the New Forest National Park; I can see the trees in the forest if I turn my head and look out of the window behind me. Bratley View is about three miles up the road, within the National Park. This water is a small pond on a hill. Some summers it almost completely dries up. Newts live in it, and it waters the commoners' ponies and cattle in the area.
