In this nature challenge, show us flower buds JUST as they are starting to open their petals, the centre of their blooms ALMOST visible, their beauty nearly ready to display itself to the world. The flower bud/buds should be still in their natural environment. Insects or other small creatures may be present in your entry but must not dominate the picture. Minimal evidence of man, pets, or man-made constructions. SIZE DOES MATTER: 1,600 pixels on the longer side.
