This challenge is dedicated to the leaves whose colour we enjoy day in and day out at this time of year. Your photo can ONLY INCLUDE LEAVES IN AUTUMN COLOUR and the twigs that bear them - no tree trunks, no grass, nothing other than leaves and perhaps their twigs or branches. The leaves may be on the ground and show rain drops or frost, but no grass or soil. And, of course, no human elements of any kind are allowed in this Art of Nature series.

Cylindrical panoramas covering at least 120 degrees Challenge finished on Thursday, 04 Nov 2010 Most lenses use a rectilinear projection that keeps straight lines straight, but the widest rectilinear lenses barely cover 120 degrees and the projection becomes quite unnatural at that angle. In contrast, wide panoramas used to be captured by special cameras that rotated a slit and lens assembly during exposure, yielding a cylindrical projection that bends horizontal lines, but looks reasonably natural covering up to 360 degrees. Now, fisheye images or sets of rectilinear images can be computationally transformed into cylindrical panoramas... and you can enter your best here.
