"Noisy" streets (READ THE RULES) Challenge finished on Saturday, 30 Apr 2011 Take a picture in a city, street, or sidewalk setting where there is visible digital noise. This doesn't mean sound but rather the grainy noise we sometimes get with high ISO or long exposures. Again, we need to be able to see evidence of the noise in the picture. If the picture is not taken i a street, sidewalk, or city setting, or if we can't see the noise, it will be DQed.

Show us your best photograph, taken in the city and describing a particular, meaningful moment. Black and white suggests moments charged with realism, rather than simply aesthetics. Yes-pictures: Reality in all its shades, both positive and negative, portrayed artistically and with personality; photographs that can easily be described as "documents of our century"; tones should be very well portrayed; well defined shadows adding that special something to the subject; people / portraits if in a street / city context. No-pictures: Big smiles; mommies pushing strollers; your lovely pet; fashion trash; your last vacation in a big city... that kind of "we've seen it all before" type of photo.
