Cityscape Challenge finished on Sunday, 26 Jun 2011 A cityscape is the urban equivalent of a landscape. Townscape is roughly synonymous with cityscape, though it implies the same difference in urban size and density (and even modernity) implicit in the difference between the words city and town. In urban design the terms refer to the configuration of built forms and interstitial space. In the visual arts a cityscape (urban landscape) is an artistic representation, such as a painting, drawing, print or photograph, of the physical aspects of a city or urban area. Animal coat colours : Brown tones predominant [ eligibility and rules below, dont make me DQ you for the sake of a few moments to read the rules ] Challenge finished on Sunday, 26 Jun 2011 Lets see your best shots of any species of animal MAMMAL whose natural coat/fur is predominantly brown. This can include light brown/tan/reddish brown, and mottled brown based tones. There are coat colours defined as Red which appear within brown tones so its not the strict definition but the *appearance* which matters for the challenge [ other colours/markings are fine but there must be clearly more brown than other colours *within shot*, if the balance is too far from brown predominant I will DQ ;) ]. *True reds and creams/champagnes will have their own challenges asap. If unsure please ask.
