Pocket-Sized P&S Cameras in Nature Photography Challenge finished on Saturday, 14 Jan 2017 The lowly Point & Shoot cameras are much maligned by many photographers who have their expensive, but heavy-weight cameras, lenses, tripods, reflectors, etc. which they carry around in big back-packs. When on holiday, many of the same photographers, leave the heavy equipment in their hotel rooms, and put their little P&S cameras in their pockets, and capture interesting pictures, without getting tired after a day's sight-seeing. Show us examples of your NATURE photos taken just with a P&S compact pocketable, fixed lens camera. Macro and close-ups welcome. Minimal evidence of humans, pets, or man-made constructions. No shots from mobile or cell phones, please. Size of your entry: 1,600 pixels on the longer side.
