The Songs Of Life: 100 Years Challenge finished on Tuesday, 17 Jan 2012 READ THE RULES! This challenge is all about interpretation: I named it with the title of a popular song (by Five For Fighting), and it will be up to the entrants to determine what the song means to them - and how they can express that with a photo. **The link to the lyrics is at the top of the rules**
Photo Fish Hunt Challenge finished on Tuesday, 17 Jan 2012 Reflecting upon this very popular, highly ecological and attractive diving contest which lets people hunt without killing, let's see the beauties of "live free and unrestricted fish photographed in its natural habitat", as the PFH rules define the task. And "natural habitat" is not an aquarium, mind! The fish may be presented whole or in a portrait, as defined in Additional rules below. This Challenge is intended for diving photographers (SCUBA & Apnea), but if you have been lucky just snorkeling about, your work is welcome! PLEASE READ ALL THE RULES CAREFULLY! I hate having to disqualify a photo just because of an oversight...

Action series... Smiling Challenge finished on Monday, 16 Jan 2012 I did laughing, but smiling is different, and beautiful. Babies with no teeth, children with some teeth, adults with all teeth, older adults with missing teeth. I expect only people in this challenge, no smiling pets. This is about the smile, and about the composition. A portrait shot is fine, as is a child on a carousel. And yes, if you love your own smile , enter it!
