Winner: Firesteel I-70 Long Haul.
Ad campaign: Long haul Challenge finished on Wednesday, 07 Dec 2011 The client is a trucking company specializing in long hauls (long distance transportation). They're looking for a photo they can use for various purposes including their newsletter, their web site and on leaflets. The image should be bold and really speak to the idea of long haul trucking. They do not necessarily need a photo of a truck as they're open to the idea of something more conceptual if it gets the point across. What they do not want is an image with any sort of brand easily identified.
Winner: Parent with Young

Errors, Slips, And Blunders: A Focus On Poor Focus Challenge finished on Wednesday, 07 Dec 2011 Everybody's done it before: thought they had the picture locked in - and it looked okay when they aped it on their camera's screen... but when they got home and pulled it up on the monitor, the image was in fact blurry. Don't ya hate that?

I Am......???? Challenge finished on Wednesday, 07 Dec 2011 The aim of this challenge is to make the viewer see the world as if they were something else.....not a person......effectively to "see it from my point of view". In order to be a valid entry I must feel that I am that object. For example put the camera in a clothes basket and photograph some dirty socks being tossed in. Or put the camera in a microwave and photograph a plate being put in. Your photo must be titled "I Am ...........". The photo must convey the view from whatever you are. Have fun with this one.
Winner: On A Corner In Philly Making a Dime on the "Nickel"
The Songs Of Life: White America Challenge finished on Tuesday, 06 Dec 2011 READ THE RULES! This challenge is all about interpretation: I named it with the title of a popular song (by Eminem), and it will be up to the entrants to determine what the song means to them - and how they can express that with a photo. **The link to the lyrics is at the top of the rules**
Transparency + Reflection Challenge finished on Tuesday, 06 Dec 2011 The object of this Challenge is to include both transparent and reflective view of the water surface in the same frame. It can be done in various ways, and it's up to you to pick your own way to present it - but it has to be one-shot photo, NOT a composition. The transparent part of the picture has to show some underwater detail. The reflected part may or may not reflect anything special, since even a muddy water can reflect, but it can hardly have any usable transparency at all. The photographs in this Challenge should aim to present the clarity of waters around us, which we associate with health, joy, well-preserved natual resource and its unique beauty.
Winner: It's Turkey Time
Oven Challenge finished on Tuesday, 06 Dec 2011 In the US it is Thanksgiving time. For many this means wonderful things being cooked to perfection in a nice hot oven. Show us your oven even if it's a toaster oven and if there's something good in side all the better. No holiday required so even if it's not a holiday for you show us what you've got!
Tree Challenge finished on Tuesday, 06 Dec 2011 Please submit a picture that includes at least one" tree" vividly
