-Portal to Paradise- (Provide a Border, Title and Date) Challenge finished on Thursday, 16 Aug 2012 Take a full coloured dayshot of a outdoor scenery through a doorway/entrance-exit portal (no close up or macro shots please). The photo must be clearly framed by the dark doorway/portal. There should be no human nor animal visible, unless they are less than 15% of the shot area. The use of negative space is encouraged. Put a Border and Title on the photograph. Please also watermark the capture date (correct to the month) somewhere on the photo. The only shot I discourage is those with repeated arches. That has been addressed in a previous challenge.

Photographer audition: Wildlife photographer Challenge finished on Wednesday, 15 Aug 2012 The client organizes unique holidays for well-off old people. Lately, they've had requests for wildlife "safaris" where the participants can sneak up on various animals (N.B. we're not talking about African safaris, but local destinations). Such trips are easy enough to organize, but the client wants to make things interesting by having a photographer who specializes in wildlife to accompany the groups. Submit your best wildlife photo, but first check out the additional rules!
Winner: I'll be waiting right here
Put Your Model on a New Background! Challenge finished on Wednesday, 15 Aug 2012 This challenge is simple: Take a picture of a model (Human, Animal, Statue, I don't care) and transplant it onto a new background. Place your images side by side or one on top of the other so we can see a before and after. Try to keep submissions under 4MB; under 2MB is even better. That's it! The voters will judge you, I will only disqualify if you don't include a before/after comparison.

Ghost Trails of Light Challenge finished on Monday, 13 Aug 2012 Light and delayed shutter can provide some indeterminate results that express subjects, objects and features we can relate, whether or not the parameters were controlled. I advise submitters to identify in the title with the marker [I] or [C] to indicate whether the photograph was taken incidentally or with controlled parameters. For example if you produced and waved light in front of the camera, that would be controlled. However if you captured something with a delayed shutter and captured some form expressed in light that was not controlled, that would be incidental.
