They are often described as being +3, +5, +10, etc, as a measure of their strength. Photographs taken with multi-element macro filters (eg: Marumi 200, Raynox 150) are fully eligible. Funny Animals! Challenge finished on Thursday, 26 Jan 2012 We have all seen animals in funny situations, whether initiated by humans, or otherwise. Some people have animals that can do things on command… and vice versa, where some pets succeeded in training their masters! Some animals are victims of fashion which their "mommies" think is “nice” - or worse yet, “good for them”… Animals are an endless source of amusement, as long as they live close to Humans. All except sick jokes and/or situations are acceptable. You get my drift. See the Intro to the Series (click at Laugh@Life above) for additional information, and please observe the Rules, so cat won't have to eat your entry.

A wet subject...(No swimming) Challenge finished on Thursday, 26 Jan 2012 Wet. The subject must be visibly wet. This is not a water challenge, so NO swimming. Examples: Dew on a spider web, a child or dog playing in a sprinkler, raindrops on flowers or other objects, beads of sweat on an athlete. When framing your picture, keep in mind, the water is not the subject.
- Rotated shadows - Challenge finished on Thursday, 26 Jan 2012 Take a shot with the camera in a rotated position OR you can rotate it (or flip it) in post processing, to make the shadows prominent and thus presenting the viewers with something they don't see outright. The rotation can be of any degree, and you can crop it anyhow you want.
