- The Start of Spring 2017 - (Landscape in Full Colours + A Border) Challenge finished on Sunday, 26 Feb 2017 This challenge is to celebrate the beginning of Spring. As different cultures have different definitions of when spring starts, please forgive me as I adopt the definition from the culture/country with the greatest number of people, ie the Chinese. The Chinese define the beginning of spring as LiChun (立春) and this challenge is loosely based *AROUND* that period of seasonal change. Scroll to processing rules for wiki of LiChun. The challenge requires you to take a human-free landscape genre photo of somewhere in North Hemisphere. It would be preferable to avoid sunset/sunrise heavy photo, and large bodies of water. Why? Because this challenge is not about the rise or set of the sun nor is it about bodies of water. Its about the season. Try to have at least 15% of the photo area filled with land (ie, literally solid terrain and things that are on it). Please add an elegant border. My keyword suggestions - show rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and regrowth.
Winner: Feed me, me, me, me, me
