Winner: Whitewater Rainbow
Whitewater Challenge finished on Tuesday, 13 Mar 2012 Torrents, rapids, waterfalls... their danger and beauty have hypnotic values of their own. Those are our theme in this Challenge. Whole scope range is allowed, from close-up or telephoto trough panoramas to extreme wide-angle… whatever pleases you. NOTE: although there may be people in your photos, save the watersport takes for the next Challenge which will be aimed at that topic. PLEASE OBSERVE ALL THE RULES. It is the best way to avoid disqualification.
Winner: Lottery ticket seller, Hi Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Stone Work (Capture date and size rule) Please read all... Challenge finished on Tuesday, 13 Mar 2012 Something made of stone. It can be a granite counter top or a rock fireplace. Anything made of solid rock or rocks held together with grout or mortar. A cobble stone road is OK, brick is not as brick is man made and not stone. The photo needs to be taken after the challenge is announced. The reason for this is to give you the opportunity to spend a little time planning and capturing an interesting photo. It's got to be worth an hour of your time to think and act creatively rather then watch TV. Your family could have fun helping you. This is not a snapshot challenge, it's a creative challenge. I'd rather have 7 quality photos then a challenge full of file photos. Additional rules apply, please read carefully.

Birds In Man Made Habitat in Spring [ PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE ENTERING ! ] Challenge finished on Sunday, 11 Mar 2012 The series now looks at humans and animals sharing our world. For this challenge, show one or more bird in or on a MAN MADE bird habitat, ie bird table, bird box, bird bath etc, any structure which through design, or incidental result, is helping birds by providing a place for food or water or shelter. *Capture date is relevant in respect of being Spring months so this over rides the No Restrictions rule below as Spring Months is not a tickable dpr option* [ A duel version of the seasons set will be run in which entrants can try to repeat/better their shots and show comparison, more details to come later on in the Challenges Forum ;) ] If unsure of any of the rules please do ask via pm. DQs of non-eligible entries will be done at the close of submissions.
