Everyday Life - Green Challenge finished on Thursday, 26 Jul 2012 I just saw, that the sample-pics of my three last challenges are mainly green. So it looks like that green is an everyday colour. So let's start a very open challenge. Take a mainly green pic or take a pic of a green thing (a car, a green dot on a black wall, whatever in green).

The Decisive Moment Challenge finished on Thursday, 26 Jul 2012 This contest concerns itself with the moment of decision. Specifically, that moment when a decision has been made and when action is required. The moment a batter swings, the moment a child begins to blow out the candles on a cake, or the moment that reality hits and emotions spill out.
Shadows and Silhouettes in Nature Challenge finished on Thursday, 26 Jul 2012 Essentially that. Let the image speak for itself! Disqualifications will be done after the closing of submissions. PLEASE READ RULES!!! MUST BE Black and white or Monochrome (shades of grey and/or BW) or Sepia - NO TITLE - NO DESCRIPTIONS - NO WATERMARKS - NO TEXT... Just the picture and nothing else!

Creative Composites Challenge finished on Thursday, 26 Jul 2012 Sometimes we play with our photos and compose new images using parts of different shots. Well, some of those do not amount to much, but others we like and save for "just in case". This Challenge is about those saved. What do you regard as your best composed image? As free as this theme is, DO NOT ENTER if you do not intend to observe the rules.
Winner: Robber Fly_01
I'm Going (extension) Tubing, He Bellows Challenge finished on Thursday, 26 Jul 2012 Some long lenses have a minimum focus distance as large as 30 feet... who thought that was a good idea? Put more space between the sensor and the rear of the lens and you can focus much closer. This challenge is for shots, macro or otherwise, made using a lens mounted on any type of glassless extension: tubes, bellows, an empty toilet paper roll and duct tape.... ;)
