Viet Nam: Its People Challenge finished on Thursday, 24 Jan 2013 Viet Nam has a vibrant set of cultures, and they are reflected in the country's people. Show us some insight into VN though your photo. It can be environmental (e.g., a farmer in the fields) or a close-up traditional portrait. The person's (people's) face(s) should fill enough of the frame so that we can see their expressions...there will be a future challenge where "distant" people will be acceptable, but that's not the right image for this particular challenge. Ideally, you will submit an image that not only shows us the character of the person or persons, but you will use light and shadow well ... try to avoid flat lighting (ie, taken in the middle of the day, outside). Voters should reward entries that meet these criteria, and should vote down the entries that miss on one or more points. -I may DQ images that seem too much like traditional, non-environmental, portraits. If you submit early, I'll let you know if there's a problem in plenty of time to re-submit a new one.
Winner: New Born
