Please, enter images that you've not already used in prior challenges . . . let's see something fresh and new from you. (I will likely depend on help from other challenge participants in tracking down violators. So, images that are repeats could be DQ'd at any time . .. even after the challenge ends!) Magazine editorial: What we can't see Challenge finished on Wednesday, 05 Jun 2013 Advances in technology have enabled more people to take more photos than ever before. Photographers are looking beyond the everyday photos and creating images that require special lenses (e.g., shift/tilt) and/or processing techniques (e.g., HDR). The editors of this magazine want to explore this new world with a collection of images that are beyond human perception. They want images that can not be taken with a regular camera by a regular person. They want time lapse, long exposure, infra-red, super macro, and other out-of-the-ordinary photos to illustrate this article. Provide some OUTSTANDING photographs.

The aim of the challenge is to showcase the beauty of the beach or to infuse the beach well with the subject. So please vote according to how well the beach goes in the photo. For example if the beach suits as a great background.

-The Roadside Fruit Seller- (Full Colours Only with Border and Title) Challenge finished on Monday, 03 Jun 2013 The challenge here is to get an up close full sized dayshot portrait of an adult human fruit seller out in the open with his /her fruits in the foreground or background. The shot can be a faceshot with neck and shoulders or even more. Silhouettes or faceless/headless shots do not qualify. You may enter up to 2 entries, provided they are different person. Photo can be taken with any camera, i.e DSLR, SLR, Mirrorless, Compact, Smartphone, etc... Please include a border and an appropriate title watermarked on the photo itself.

Where just having the camera in hand or set correctly to capture the image was a dash of sheer luck or serendipity? It might be something you were expecting to see, or not. It might be a once-a-year, or a once-in-a-lifetime shot. Examples might be a dog's facial expression while catching a frisbee, an icicle dropping from a roof, or the juxtaposition of unique items in one single place at the same time.
