Trash! Challenge finished on Thursday, 14 Apr 2016 "One man's trash is another man's treasure." I don't know who coined the phrase, but it is a universal truth. For the photographer trash can be an amazing opportunity. Take a picture of trash, garbage, refuse, litter, whatever rubbish you can find. Take what someone else has thrown out and make it a treasure of a picture for all to see.
Thunderstruck Challenge finished on Thursday, 14 Apr 2016 You know the story, a beautiful warm day and then the storm rolls in. Quickly you pick up your tripod and head out knowing that this storm may turn into a thunderstorm. You set up your gear and the timer and hope for the best....When you get home there is an awesome photo of a bolt of lightning that makes it all worth it. I want to see that image! Entry limit is 2 per person

From the host of this challenge: I strive to bring challenges to the community that are not repeats of my previous challenges. It has become more and more difficult to deliver new and fresh challenges that are not repeats of my past challenges, but I consider it a challenge to myself to offer new and fresh challenges to the community. Who am I? I'm a 15 year U.S. Biology Teacher, with a master +30, and a U.S. Physical Scientist Technician (retired). I am an avid supporter of Pentax dslr camera(s) and lenses.
