Jigsaw Puzzle: Nature #9 Challenge finished on Saturday, 27 Sep 2014 I've been asked to repeat some of the Jigsaw Puzzle Challenges, which I started back in 2012. In this challenge, show us an example of something very busy, and detailed: a natural landscape, a seascape, a forest, plants, flowers, trees, birds or animals in the wild, insects, etc etc which would make a great jigsaw puzzle. Man-made structures, (roads, buildings, bridges etc.,) should be non-existent or minimal please. Think 1,000+ piece, devious 'drive-you-crazy' picture with lots of minute details.... :-) SIZE: 1,600px MAXIMUM ON LONGER SIDE.

Decisive moment Challenge finished on Friday, 26 Sep 2014 The decisive moment refers to capturing an event that is ephemeral and spontaneous, where the image represents the essence of the event itself. So... share with us great photos showing a decisive moment, I'll review the photos carefully, so you may add few words explaining why you think this is a decisive moment. Check the web for some great examples: http://petapixel.com/2013/08/12/the-decisive-moment-and-the-human-brain/ http://erickimphotography.com/blog/2010/07/01/%E2%80%9Chow-to-masterthe-decisive-moment%E2%80%9D/ I'll review the entries carefully and DQ any entry which will not convince me to be a genuine decisive moment
