- Mirror in the water (Full Colours Only + A white Border) Challenge finished on Sunday, 16 Oct 2016 Take a landscape genre day shot with a landscape orientation which lends a vision as per what was described in the theme/title. Make sure that it remains relatively free of humans. Add an elegant white border. My keyword suggestions - show perfection and stillness. Three entries are allowed per member, but make them look completely different from one another.
Forced Perspective Challenge finished on Sunday, 16 Oct 2016 Have you ever held the sun in your hands, stood on your friends fingertip, climbed a building batman style? Try your hand using forced perspective to create a compelling or fun photograph. You can google Forced Perspective for ideas of what to shoot. No photoshoping (PP) of the effect. BE CREATIVE, HAVE FUN.
Winner: VW camper in Durness, Scotland
Trailer Trash Challenge finished on Sunday, 16 Oct 2016 Do you live in a trailer full time or part time (like I do)? Please submit your best photo of your trailer or someone else's. Motor homes, class A, class C, pickup campers, tent trailers, trailer park trailers, park models, flip tops, tear drops, van or school bus conversions are all allowed.
Winner: Green and blue
Green Flowers Challenge finished on Saturday, 15 Oct 2016 Yes, that's right, this challenge is seeking your best pictures of live green, open flowers; natural, not artificially coloured for the florist trade or styling gurus. I would prefer them to be still outside growing in their natural environment. Flowers which are green include varieties of orchids, euphorbias, daisies, hellebores, chrysanthemums.... Please keep your entry's natural colour. Other colours may be present in the flower, but green must be dominant, so we can say, "That's a green flower!" Minimal evidence of humans, pets, or man-made constructions please. Size of your entry: 1,600 pixels on the longer side.
Winner: Rovinj morning glory
Urban panorama Challenge finished on Friday, 14 Oct 2016 Upload a panoramic image of an urban area that has a relatively wide aspect ratio. In camera panoramas are preferred but manually stitched images are allowed. Outdoor or indoor images are accepted.
Winner: Lilac-breasted Roller
F7.1 to F11 only Challenge finished on Thursday, 13 Oct 2016 The sweet spot is often midway through your aperture range for sharpness. Submit a photo within this aperture range.
Winner: Classical Guitarist under Park Güell, Barcelona
Your City - Street Artists (B&W only) Challenge finished on Wednesday, 12 Oct 2016 For this challenge a picture of one or more street artists is requested. This could be musicians, but living statues or painters are another possibility. As always, tell us the location where the picture was taken.
Winner: Night In Seydisfjordur Iceland
My Best Photo of the Week Challenge finished on Wednesday, 12 Oct 2016 Did you capture a good quality photo this week, but there's no current and appropriate challenge to display it? Here is your opportunity to show it to us. Please remember that this is a family-friendly site, and enter photos appropriate for everyone to view. Make sure your entry is 1,600px MAXIMUM on its longer side. DPR does NOT resize your photos for you. You need to do this yourself BEFORE you enter a challenge. Entrants with oversize photos will not be invited to re-submit them. Ensure the size is right the first time!
Travel Magazine - Summertime Challenge finished on Wednesday, 12 Oct 2016 Need a shot of showing us a summer scene. Preferably an outside scene, showing people enjoying the summer sun, or a nice shot of a tropical tree and the ocean, someone surfing, riding bikes, etc.
