Naturally Shiny Challenge finished on Saturday, 06 Sep 2014 In this challenge, show us subjects which are shiny in nature, where the texture of the subject is smooth and (usually) highly reflective. APS-C lens on FF body Challenge finished on Thursday, 04 Sep 2014 Now that bodies with FF (24x36mm) sensors are reasonably cheap, what do you do with all those APS-C lenses? Before you dispose of them, why not try them on your new FF body? It turns out that some will cover a FF sensor just fine -- especially zooms used at certain focal lengths, or lenses used for closer subjects. This contest is for uncropped FF captures using an APS-C lens.
Winner: Milkweed Burst
Weeds Challenge finished on Thursday, 04 Sep 2014 Weeds are natures graffiti. Give them some love - lets see your favourite photo of a weed or a bunch of weeds. We're talking about the garden variety (though your image need not have been captured in your garden), not the smoking variety - images of marijuana in plant or smoking form will be disqualified. It would be appreciated if you could add the species if you are able to identify it, though this is not essential for this challenge.
